His words: “I feel very good because it’s just a starting point for me to showcase my talent. If I get the chance to play, I will try my best to help the club. The only problem am having now is the time to show what I can do. Once I get the opportunity to play, I believe am going to utilise it to help the team.
“It’s very much possible to break into the team. I’m a young player coming up. So, once I get my time, am going to make use of it very well.”
Similarly, former MFM centre back, Joseph Babatunde said he is looking forward to an exciting league season where his experience in the game will be pivotal to the Owena Whales.
Babatunde said: “I’m really excited because it’s one of the biggest and greatest team in the NPFL. I’m so happy coming here to showcase what I have for them.
“I am bringing in more quality, bring on my own idea into the team and so that have a good team. With own quality we can aim higher. I’m a central defender and am good in marking the ball. My team saw me and loved me, that’s why they signed me.
“I played in MFM and it was great because they really believed in me and I did a lot of job there. With me joining Sunshine Stars, I think its nice.”
