South East Women Football Association has joined sympathisers to mourn the passing of Abia FA Chairman, Ephraim Chukwuemeka.
It was gathered that the former referee, who happened to be the longest-serving FA Chairman in the country, died on Tuesday morning in Umuahia, capital of Abia State.
According to the Chairman, Nzekwe Alex, he enjoined the people of Abia State, football community, family members and well-wishers to bear the irreplaceable loss.
While describing him as one of the astute administrators in the country, he prayed that God console the family in this trying period and may his soul rest in peace.
