Former Senate Chief Whip, Senator Stella U. Omu, has rated high the 2022 National Sports Festival hosted by Delta State.
Speaking with Wakawaka Sports Extra, the former Senate Chief Whip described the spirit of sportsmanship that heralded the event as top notch noting that it will be adjudged as the best in recent times.
While commending the administration of governor Ifeanyi Okowa, she enjoined Nigerians to support his ambition for the Presidency adding that he has the capacity to manage the country.
Her words: “I feel happy and great because of the spirit of sportsmanship within all the contestants and this sports festival is adjudged to be one of the best held in recent times.
“This shows the capacity of our governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who is also our Vice Presidential candidate. With the show and exhibition and all that has happened in this sports festival, it shows that our governor has the capacity not only to manage Delta State also to manage Nigeria.
“And that is why we should all support the train of Atiku/Okowa to resuce Nigeria of all the ills like poverty, unemployment, insecurity and all.
“Once again I congratulate Delta State, I congratulate Senator Ifeanyi Okowa and all the organisers of this great festival.”
