The Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC) has lauded Gov. Hope Uzodimma for completing landmark projects in the oil producing Local Government Areas of Oguta and Ohaji-Egbema.
The Managing Director of ISOPADEC, Prince Charles Orie said this while responding to questions from newsmen in Owerri on Monday.
He said the commission was able to execute and commission some of these developmental projects because the governor was properly funding the commission.
He listed some of the projects to include construction and rehabilitation of hospitals, health centres, schools and boreholes in the LGAs.
Orie noted that some dilapidated structures had been rehabilitated and equipped with quality equipment.
” Most of the projects have been completed and some are ongoing. The commission touches all communities of ISOPADEC with the intention to encourage productivity, development and peace “, he said.
He urged the beneficiary communities to protect the projects so that they would continue benefitting more from them.
He further restated his commitment to actualising the yearnings of Imo people by fulfilling his mandate and called for support from Imo people. (NAN)
