Don’t Prophesy Doom About National Teams, Ex Eagles Chaplain Urges Men Of God

Rev Divine Eches, a former Super Eagles Chaplain during the 2013 Nations Cup triumph in South Africa, has pleaded with men of God and servants of the Most High in the temple to refrain from prophesying doom about the national teams.

Eches, who is also Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Imo State chapter, charged men of God to always speak well of the ‘National Ambassadors’ and provide alternatives to their prophecies.

He spoke to Wakawaka Sports Extra in Owerri.

Rev Eches who predicted the winners of the AFCON in Cameroon, was not honored when other members of the 2013 Super Eagles AFCON winning Super squad were honored by the Federal Government in Abuja.

Despite the snub, he disclosed that he still prays for the success of the team, saying that no man can stop the Eagles from qualifying for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar if the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, does the right things that are needed for the team to qualify on time.
