A Community Youth leader in Laranto Jos Plateau State and a pocacov Stakeholder known as Tangni Plangdi Simeon has expressed joy and happiness recently with the organization of the POCACOV IN MY COMMUNITY activity which was held in Jos Plateau state and describing it as a dream come true, as it provided ample opportunities for cross sections of Youths numbering about one thousand to be sensitized on the dangers of cultism ,substance and drug abuse,violent behaviours and other vices for a safe,Peaceful and secured Community.According to the community youth leader Tangni who was filled with joy and happiness following the successful conduct of the three days event which took place at GH Luxuries ,Apata Jos,Plateau state on 25th to 27th December,2021 and organized by Laranto Youth Movement (LYM0 Plateau state with Chronik Entertain in Partnership with Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV), and supported by POCACOV Ambassador,Engr Joyce Daser Adams alias Autolady,it is a dream come true as the platform provided opportunity for value reorientation for self discovery and strategic leadership direction.We all need pocacov in our communities for peace,safety and security and I thank the Inspector General of police and the Nigeria Police Force on POCACOV Initiative. I also appreciate the efforts of Pocacov Ambassador Joyce Daser Adams(AUTOLADY) .Partnering with pocacov on this event was excellent and we shall keep partnering with POCACOV to take the message to various Plateau communities.On her part,the Plateau state Pocacov Coordinator representing the National Coordinator POCACOV,Asp Patience Angyu thanked the youth and their leadership on their wise choice of identifying with pocacov and charged them to always remain focus and never allow themselves to be used to avoid destroying their future.We shall keep working with you and other relevant bodies to achieve peace,safety and security in our communities.In Pocacov we conduct Advocacy programmes,Awareness Creation and sensitizations ,Mentoring and Reorientation programmes like what you have witnessed within three days now.Pocacov is the Nigeria Police Community Policing Initiative working with different stakeholders,Multi Agencies and galvanizing their support as well as enhancing their participation towards problem solving for a safe,peaceful and secured Communities.
