The National Coordinator Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) the NPF Community Policing Initiative working with different Stakeholders,galvanizing their support and enhancing participation towards problem solving for a safe ,peaceful and secured communities,CSP Ebere Amaraizu has commended the Board and Management of Amazing Love International Schools(ALIS) on their strong partnership with the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV) for an enhanced Sporting Activities through a center Known as ALIS/POCACOV Sports Center for children /Youth Value reorientation ,Self Discovery for strategic leadership direction. CSP Amaraizu ,a reputable sports administrator,Pillar of Sports in Enugu state and who recently became a coach from the National Institute For Sports(NIS) made this known today 3/1/2022 on tour of inspection with the Finance Head ,Board of Directors,Amazing Love International Schools (ALIS) at Plot PS/2,Emene Industrial Layout Enugu ,Reverend Chukwudiebube Nwachukwu.Amaraizu who was elated with the situation on ground ,went further to outline steps and measures to transform ALIS through POCACOV Partnership into a sports hub in the south East in particular and the entire Nation at large in view of the fact that Sports have become globally acknowledged as potential tool for National and Economic Development.We are going to exploit the potentials of sports to enhance the attainment of respective development objectives considering its core values such as Fair play,Social Justice,Discipline,Self Discovery,Creation of employment opportunities,Promotion of Culture,Means of Enhancing Education,Instrument for Driving National Ideology amongst others,he maintained.We are going to uplift Various Sports like football,Handball,Volley ball ,Basketball,Taekwondo,Boxing ,Athletics ,Chess ,Cycling,Swimming amomgst others here and we look forward to teach Triathlon Sports here for young minds to be exposed into the world of Triathlon Sports.I Commend the Proprietor of the School Bishop Dr .Nwachukwu on his vision to create enough space to house the Ultra modern Sports centre.The Sporting Program in the School will be combined with Academics and that gives the school the cutting edge.Responding,the Finance Head,Board of Directors ,Amazing Love International Schools(ALIS) Reverend Chuwudiebube Nwachukwu thanked the Nigeria Police Force on POCACOV Initiative and commended the National Coordinator on the implementation of various community driven activities to enhance participations of stakeholders for problem solving across communities and maintained that ALIS look forward to working with Nigeria Police Force through POCACOV to achieve the greater goal of getting rid of Cultism ,Substance and drug Abuse,Violent Behaviours and other vices by the grace of God,Our prioprietor Bishop Dr.Nwachukwu,a world renowned Theologian and minister of the gospel has already laid the foundation for this and that is why we can proudly Say that at ALIS,we do not have single case of cultism or substance and drug abuse even amongst our students and we give God the glory.
