Members of the Imo Youth Center Innovative Media (IYCIM) were on 18th of November formally Inaugurated by Hon Eric Uwakwe, Special Adviser to the Imo State Governor On Youth Affairs, Campus Diary reports.
IYCIM is a platform comprising of several multimedia personalities driven with the passion of promoting the policies and Ideals of the 3R Administration led by His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, The Excecutive Governor of Imo State in view of facilitating Youth inclusiveness, development and multifaceted empowerment,
In his Opening remarks, The State Cordinator of the Forum, Nwokorie David Extensively Elucidated the Ideals and Objectives behind the Platform. He stated that the forum was focused on Permeating the various tertiary Institutions and Youth communities across the 27 LGA’s of the State with the ennobling Policies and programs targeted at Impacting the lives of Imo Youth Positively.
While addressing the Members of the Delegation, Hon Eric Uwakwe charged them to Show Commitment and fervor in dispensing their Duties whilst also Admonishing them to Continually Promote the Ideals of the Current Administration in regards to the Youths.
He expressed satisfaction at the formal Induction of the Media Forum Adding that it would Serve as a Medium of Shaping Public perception Amongst the Youth Community.
Furthermore, He stated that the Imo state Government was fully in support of the Forum and would give it the necessary resources needed for It to function effectively.
