NPF Triathlon will deepen connectivity between police and policing stakeholders as community policing activity — Pocacov


All is set for the smooth conduct of the Nigeria Police Force  Sensitizations on the Rules and Regulations of Triathlon at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan International Peace Keeping Hall ,Force Headquarters Abuja between  5th to 6th November,2021 beginning from 9am .The Sensitization  which will be flagged off by the Inspector General office IGP Usman Alkali Baba,Psc(+),NPM,fdc is to equip participants which includes the police and other policing stakeholders on the rudiments and Tenets of Triathlon as a sporting event which includes Swimming,Cycling and Running ahead of the 1ST IGP Usman Alkali Baba  National Triathlon Invitational  Championship Slated to take place in federal Capital Capital Territory,Abuja on 4th December,2021.The event  is expected to produce the following  outcomes  such as having a formidable  National Triathlon  Team that  will represent Nigeria in the 2022 Common  Wealth games in Birmingham  England,Afford the country  the opportunity to build  capacity  that will  enable  Mobilization  of other Africa Countries  towards the actualization  of African Triathlon events in the country and importantly serve its purpose of Community based crime prevention measures as  Young Nigerians  and Sports Lovers will be inspired  to grab this prospect and actualize  their sporting  potentials .This will in addition serve as a livelihood   to many participants  in Nigeria  thereby  aiding to prevent and minimize  the rate of crime and criminalities considering the fact of various core values of sports such as Self Discovery,Fair Play,Discipline,Social Justice,Creation of employment opportunities,Promotion of sports business for economic development,promotion of social mobilization ,Harmony and National integration amongst others.
