Activity of Pocacov and as a community based crime preventive measures towards cutting the supply chains and conveyor belts of cultism and other vices, trigger self discovery for strategic leadership direction for a peaceful, safe and secured community, the POCACOV Volunteer Club
Team of Rivers state chapter on 27th 0ctober,2021 paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of Students Affairs of University of PortHarcourt Rivers State ,Dr.Wokocha Chima Chibuike who had earlier indicated his passion and interest on POCACOV the Nigeria Police Force Community Policing initiatives working different stakeholders to execute planned program of action on community based crime prevention measures.
Earlier, the Chairman Rivers state POCACOV Volunteer Club Chairman for safer schools and community, Amb Eke Onwuka accompanied by SP Ilium Peter and other Pocacov Team members had thanked the Dean for identifying with the noble Nigeria Police Force Community policing Initiatives and pointing out that POCACOV has evolved many community based crime prevention activities/measures such as POCACOV IN MY COMMUNITY,POCACOV SCHOOL CHESS GAME,POCACOV PASSION TALK FOR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES ,POCACOV INTEGRITY DEBATE FOR SCHOOLS AND YOUNG MINDS amongst many as contained in its primary innovation stage and now ,the secondary innovations stage contains programs and activities for participations and problem solving beginning from the family.
On his part,the Dean student Affairs Dr. WOKOCHA Chibuike Chima thanked the POCACOV Team and applauded the efforts of the Nigeria Police Force under IGP Usman Alkali Baba on wonderful initiative which is community driven and involving different stakeholders for problem solving .
He revealed that having followed the POCACOV Program for some time that the program no doubt contain all those veritable ingredients of sustainable solutions to youth challenges for a safe, peaceful and secured community and assured to throw his weight towards ensuring that the activity POCACOV IN MY FAMILY is deepened.
Highlight of the visit was the formal unveiling and Decoration of the University Dean with POCACOV Camoaign T SHIRTS AND CAP.
