Imo state Commissioner of Police, CP Rabiu Hussaini psc has assured the command commissioner of police midweek sports games of his readiness to ensure that they return back to the normal weekly training program of the command CP midweek sports which was held last in 2019 and was put on hold because of the covid pandemic in the world and insecurity in the state.
CP Hussaini who loves the way the program has helped in keeping the men of the command in shape in the past said his administration in the state command will ensure that the program return even if it’s once every month ,
The committee led by Mr Bendict Nwachukwu, welcomed back the commissioner to the command after he was transferred to zamfara state as the commissioner of police before he was posted back to the state as the 39th commissioner of police,
The sports committee leader in the command CSP Makayaki said that the program has helped in the mental and physical alertness of the men of the command.
Sports officer of the command ASP Rafael Ubah said the men of the command are ready for the program anytime they are called upon to perform.
The program which began with former commissioner of police in the state AIG Dasuki Glandasi has been a huge success in the last few years before the pandemic ravaged the world.
