Imo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Dan Ogu will be among the dignitaries from Africa that will pick the draws for the second edition of Africa MiniFootball Nations Cup at the Ilaji Hotels and Resort, Akanran Ibadan the capital city of Oyo state.
The Commissioner, was informed of his role by the Chairman of the association in Imo state, Mr Chigozie Nwagwu after he visited the Commissioner at his office last week
Hon Ogu who was impressed by the opportunity the game brings to the youths of the state, promised that the administration of Sen.Hope Uzodiamma of Imo State will ensure smooth take off of the game in the state.
The host country Nigeria and 15 others will be grouped into four with two teams from each group progressing to the quarter-finals of the competition.
The Nigerian side had since resume serious training for the championship with a tag hosting to win.
