Football icon and Chairman of Enyimba FC, Ambassador Kanu Nwankwo (Papilo), has been appointed Brand Ambassador for the 2026 Adamawa Peace Cup.
The appointment was announced by the Governor of Adamawa State, in recognition of Kanu’s legendary status in world football, his outstanding contributions to youth empowerment through the Kanu Heart Foundation, and his unwavering advocacy for peace and national unity.
The 2026 Peace Cup, scheduled to hold in Yola, seeks to foster peaceful coexistence, promote unity among diverse communities, and discover the next generation of football talents in Adamawa and across Nigeria.
With Papilo as the face of the tournament, the Peace Cup is set to gain global attention.
