NELO DREAMS FOUNDATION INTL successfully conducted a Community Outreach Program with women and young girls of Wuinm Village, outskirts of Kuje, Abuja.
KEY AREAS OF EDUCATION:
1. MENTAL HEALTH & SEL→ Understanding stress, emotions, and protecting the brain as the “control room”
2. PERSONAL HYGIENE & INFECTION PREVENTION→ Daily practices for health, safety, and dignity
3. REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH → Understanding hormonal imbalance, menstrual cycle flow, and body literacy
ENGAGEMENT:
The program was fully interactive. Women and young girls asked critical questions, broke the silence around taboo topics, and received practical toolkits they can apply immediately.
The community expressed immense joy and gratitude for our presence.
HUMANITARIAN SUPPORT:
Sanitary pads were distributed to promote menstrual dignity & Protocol & Hygiene .
