Former Kwara United coach, Abdullahi Usman Biffo, has charged players of G Innovation FC to remain focused and committed as they prepare for Sunday’s Lagos State Mini Football Association final against Larry FC.
Biffo, who spoke to the players ahead of the highly anticipated final, urged them to take their personal development seriously by combining team training with individual practice.
The coach, who is based in the United States of America and has also coached national teams, said football has evolved significantly, stressing that players must understand the demands of the modern game.
According to him, players in the 21st century must know what they want, identify their areas of strength and weakness, and remain focused on improving their careers.
He advised the G Innovation players to stay disciplined, work harder and continue developing their skills beyond regular team training.
Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of G Innovation FC, Mr Chigozie Nwagwu, expressed confidence in the team’s readiness for the final.
Nwagwu said the players have remained committed to their preparations, while the officials are also putting the finishing touches to the team’s plans ahead of the decisive encounter.
He assured supporters that G Innovation FC would approach the final with determination and a strong desire to emerge champions.
