The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Imo State Chapter, has thrown its full support behind the forthcoming ‘UCL Final Watch With Puyaka & Friends’ scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Maximaobi International Hotel, Spibat Road, beside Rochas Foundation Roundabout, Umuodu Mbieri, Owerri.
The event, packaged by the Chairman of SWAN Imo Chapter, Cosmos Chukwuemeka, popularly known as “Puyaka Master,” is designed to provide football lovers, sports stakeholders and entertainment enthusiasts with a unique atmosphere to experience the UEFA Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.
SWAN Imo described the initiative as a commendable platform that promotes sports entertainment, unity and healthy social interaction among youths and football fans in the state.
The association noted that beyond the live match viewing experience, the event will also feature music, comedy, swimming, games and exciting prediction-and-win activities aimed at creating lasting memories for attendees.
The body further encouraged football fans, corporate organizations and sports enthusiasts across Imo State and beyond to identify with the event, which promises a blend of premium hospitality and world-class football entertainment.
SWAN Imo also praised the organiser for consistently using sports as a tool for engagement and development within the state.
