ENIC and Standard Tennis Development Club Trustee, Sir George Eche has described the ENIC glory by his club at the just concluded Championship as a collective responsibility of all members of the club who see tennis as a way of life, Silvernews.com.ng reports.
According to him, tennis is standard while Standard is tennis while attributing the club’s success as the most successful tennis playing club East of the Niger to team work by the technical crew, the players and management of the team.
The former Secretary to the Government of Imo State is full of excitement, while commending Cultix Plc for his long support for game in the region.
He said the competition has elongated the life of members who if not the competition will have nothing to play for.
The Trustee of the best tennis club in the country took time out to say a very big congratulations to a phenomenal character of ENIC, an all time great Peres Attah who at the last minute was drafted to play at the finals.
According to him, he demonstrated his love for the club by playing the finals with ill health and won the game that opened the way for the team to be crowned champions of the silver jubilee celebration of the league.
