NFF Elections: Imo FA urges Uchegbulam to vie for President

The Imo State Football Association, has urged her Chairman and a former Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Amanze Uchegbulam to run for the seat of the President of the NFF.

The Imo FA who moved the motion during her 2022 Ordinary General assembly in Owerri, urged the chairman to join the poll citing his tremendous successes at the NFF.

According to the first Legal Adviser of the League Management Company, LMC, and current Vice Chairman of the Association, Barrister Ifeanyi Dike, the Imo FA boss impacted positively to the growth of the federation when he was the Vice president and urged him to have a shot at the seat of the President.

Uchegbulam in his response recalled his experience at the last election in Warri, saying that he was going to give a thought to the motion .

One of the events at the 2022 Ordinary General assembly was the bestowment of awards of honorary memberships to former NUGA President, Prof. Kenneth Anugweje of University of Port-harcourt and Chief Joseph Ebowusim, Chief Executive Officer of Pharmatex Indistries Limited.

The Chairman was supported by the Association’s Ambassador and Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Eches Divine Eches, for their contributions to the growth of the Association .

The assembly is the highest decision making body of the Imo State FA was attended by members of the expanded executive committees of the FA and delegates from the 27 Council Areas of the state.
