Council Boss commend NPF on POCACOV as A community driven program ,Sue for support

The Nigeria Police Force has been commended for coming up with POCACOV initiative  which is aimed at sensitizing different stakeholders,galvanizing support and enhancing Participations for problem solving .The commendation was given by Hon Ibe Nwoke Michael the chairman Obingwa local government Area Abia  State  on the occasion of the Flag off of POCACOV School 2 School sensitization/Campaign under POCACOV IN MY SCHOOL ACTIVITY  for Abia South Senatorial Zone held recently at the premises of National Institute of Nigerian Languages (NINLAN)  Aba.According to the Council Boss,this is a good program by the Nigeria police force and Non kinetic in it’s approach and we need to support it at levels  to  assist in giving  a strategic leadership direction to our young minds for a greater society .
In her address ,the commissioner of police Abia State Janet Agbede represented by the Divisional police officer Eastern Ngwa Division ,CSp Joseph Edoigiaworie  maintained that young minds need to be well guided to avoid being misled .They are our future generation and we need to constantly engage them and help them understood their role and necessary step to take as future leaders  and that is what we are achieving through this nonkinetic measure and approach of POCACOV the NPF community policing initiative.With the flag off,we shall be visiting all schools and engaging with them on good morals and conduct for a better society .
In his speech,the National coordinator Pocacov CSP Ebere Amaraizu thanked all for helping to make the flag off a reality and pointing out that Pocacov was created as an NPF community policing initiative and public Relations Tool working with different stakeholders in order to help young minds and youths overcome  those challenges of involvements into membership of  unlawful Societies and other vices.He further maintained that Pocacov is involved in Advocacy, Awareness creation and sensitization , Reorientation ,mentoring and anchored on four pillars of Mobilizations ,partnership ,Participations and problem solving for a safe ,peaceful and secured communities . POCACOV in my school is an activity Aimee at cutting the supply chains and conveyor belts for a better society .
Participants were drawn amongst schools from Obingwa ,Osisioma ,Aba North ,Aba south ,Ugwunagbo ,Ukwa East ,Ukwa West amongst others .Students were later exposed to  real essence of integrity ,effects of digital footprints,bullying ,unlawful societies ,cultism , substance and drug abuse and other vices .They were later shared in groups for break out sessions ,group work and presentations .Some students who spoke ,expressed joy with the exercise and commended Nigeria police on POCACOV.Teachers who accompanied the schools ,commended Nigeria police force on pocacov in my school activity and  offered to work with POCACOV in this noble course .The Pocacov school 2 School sensitization/ campaign flag off ceremony was well attended by Pocacov stakeholders within Aba and it’s environs and council chairmen representatives .Highlight was the distributions of Pocacov campaign moral guide  book titled Nigerian youths in cultism ,substance and drug abuse ,fliers and posters .
