Multi Agency Collaborations is catalyst for achieving safety,peace and security in the community.This is because all efforts from various Agencies are mustered and pulled together towards achieving a common purpose mutually.Multi Agency Collaborations is an acceptable ingredient in community policing principles as it also help to strenghten policing accountability for greater efficiency.Multi Agency Collaborations however involves a situation where all identified Agencies playing different roles and leading to a common goal and vision ,Understanding themselves,work collaboratively and mutually to achieve a stated goal or vision.One Important aspect of the Multi Agency collaborations is that it enthrones togetherness,Sharing of aims,information ,tasks as well as responsibilities all of these are recipe to improved and effective service delivery system resulting to joint problem solving as the expected outcome.Another aspect of Multi Agency collaborations is that it discourages  Agency supremacy  over another as well as rivalry  but have them as one body though  having come from many agencies but  working to achieve a common goal with common vision.
Proactive policing requires Mobilizations of stakeholders and Fostering and enhancement of Multi Agency Collaborations for all hands to be on deck.It is requires that stakeholders and multi Agencies will be working as Team players with their POLICE to achieve a common goal and vision.In the community,various stakeholders and Agencies exist .The Tenets of community oriented policing requires that they are to be mobilized for partnership for their eventual participation and problem solving.In this direction,there will be smooth stakeholder mapping with clearer understanding of crime priorities and issues and with well defined engagement (NON KINETIC) towards problem solving.What this also is offering is that crime situations as per enclave,communities will be understood as well as their trends and in the engagement process, see everyone trusting  and seeing each other as CO-Policing Actors/Stakeholders.Stakeholders and Multi Agency Mapping helps for clearer understanding of where the strenght of problem solving lie for effective utilizations as community problem differs too.It also helps in the building of engagement pattern and communication process.
The Multi Agency collaborations sensitization  platforms of POCACOV a Nigeria Police Force Community policing initiative is a great and powerful tool in line with the policing Vision of the Nigeria Police Force Under IGP USMAN ALKALI BABA PSC(+)NPM,fdc ,which is to take the lead in strenghtening  inter-Agency  Collaboration as a strategic  Pathway  towards  the attainment  of our Nigeria Police Force internal Security Mandate amongst others.The just concluded 2 day Sensitizations on the Rules and Regulations on Triathlon  which is aimed at equipping participants drawn from amongst various stakeholders and multi Agencies in the country with basic information on Triathlon organized by the Nigeria Police Force in Abuja ahead of the 1st IGP Triathlon invitational Championship coming up on 4th December,2021 in Abuja through designated routes and venues ,is also in line with vision of the Nigeria Police Force towards expanding the level of existing Police Multi Agency cooperation,collaboration and partnership to achieve a common goal and vision amongst other several forum and other activity base programme of  the Nigeria Police Force.The Concept of stakeholders and Multi Agencies Collaborations/Partnership is in line with the tenets of the community oriented policing (C.O.P) and as Robert Peel regarded as the father of modern policing from Scotland Yard police will put it that the Police are the public and the public are the police.What is required more to ensure that this blossom from strenght
